The fruit is a green syncarp, 2-2.5 cm in diameter. it is a plant that grows commonly in all places and it will grow automatically as a tree. Nuna flowers would be pure white in color. The fruits would appear to be knotted ones and once they ripen, they would become black in color. When it grows to be a tree, it will measure 15 ft. approximately and the inside part of this tree would be yellow in color which is why this tree takes the nomenclature, ‘manjanathi’. It contains minerals such as selenium and zinc.
