About Punga Poo ( Indian Beech Tree/punga oil tree flower):-

A medium-sized deciduous tree. Flower: In axillary racemes or fascicles, pinkish white. Fruit: A pod, obliquely oblong, woody, compressed, curved at the apex. Seed one, reniform Bark thick, greyish brown, tubercled. Two kinds of galls are present one each on the leaf and on the inflorescence. Leaves glossy above. New foliage February-March. Barking deer and monkeys eat young shoots. Bee forage on flowers.
