About Sathakuppai (Dill) :-

    Sathakuppai known as Dill. It belongs to the family of Apiaceae, in the genus: Anethum, and scientifically named Anethum Sowa. Just like in cilantro, it too requires warm summer climates with well-drained fertile soil to flourish. It grows 1 to 2 feet in height and features dark-green leaves (sprigs) that are wispy and fern-like, have a soft texture with rich, pleasant anise aroma, and sweet taste.

How to consume Sathakuppai (Dill) Internally:-

  • Morning - Mix 5 gms of powder in 100 ml water, Boil the content for a few minutes. once the water gets warm, filter the content and drink it before food. Repeat the same for Evening Dosage after dinner. 
  • Soak some dill flowers in a jug of drinking water. Drink it frequently. (or) Finally, grind the dill seeds. Soak 1 tsp in 1 glass of hot water for 5 min, take with 1 tsp of honey twice a day. (or) steep one tsp slightly crushed dill seeds in a cup of boiling water for 10 min, now cool and strain. take a cup before a meal. This remedy is an effective treatment for flatulence.
  • Soak some dill flowers in a jug of drinking water. Drink it frequently. Finally, grind the dill seeds. Soak 1 tsp in 1 glass of hot water for 5 min, take with 1 tsp of honey.
