Description about Naalu Malai Thayam / Four Mountain Thayam / Ludo:-
- The game board contains 4 square boxes in opposite directions having 18 squares on each side. The center box of all four sides is the home location for all players. All players should start as well as reach the same after crossing all 4 mountains.
- Four colors of coins are provided and four mountains are marked inappropriate color for easy understanding
- Squares crossed are the rest or safe place for all players.
- The Center of the box also crossed its Endpoint/ Goal.
Rules and Direction to Play Naalu Malai Thayam / Four Mountain Thayam / Ludo:-
Goal:
Each player has 4 coins, move the coins from home to Goal. Who reaches all 4 coins first to the center is the winner.
Rules:
- Roll the dice at your turn, if the value is 5 or 6 or 12 then you have another chance to roll the dice again. If it's 2, 3, or 4 then you have to pass the Dice to the next player.
- At first, start when You put 1(Thayam) then only you are able to put your 1st coin in your home ( That is the first crossed box of the same color of your coin at your side from the middle ) After that all other coins out in the game can bring back to the game when you put 1 or 5.
- In each mountain, the middle path is exclusive for the player who controls the same color of the coin as the starting home color.
- In all plain boxes only one coin is able to stand (even also same player coin).
- It's a War, so a player can cut another player’s coin which is not in a safe zone (not in the cross box). A cut coin is out from the game. (I have a red coin in my home if a green coin is 3 cells next from my home and my dice value is three then I can cut that coin and play again) (Ref point no 2 to bring back the cut coin to the game).
- At least a player should cut another player's coin one time by any of his coins to enter their exclusive path towards the goal.
